Miss HEGAN, matron of the General Public Hospital and Miss CARSON the Church of England district nurse have resigned. Miss Hegan will leave the institution today and she and Miss Carson will go to New York shortly to enter the Polyclinic Hospital in which both have secured positions, Miss Hegan as night superintendent. Miss Hegan has been matron of the General Public Hospital three years. Miss Carson has been connected with the hospital three years. It is said that Miss CHESLEY d/o John CHESLEY, M.P., graduate of the institution, will be appointed to Miss Hegan's place.
