Fredericton Dec. 13 - Fredericton had a sensation in the shape of an elopement which occurred in the early part of the week. The persons concerned are Robert DAVISON who kept a large grocery store at Gibson (York Co.) and Mrs. ARBO whose husband left her. Mrs. Arbo, age 25, has a family of three small children. The children have been living some time past with their mother's relatives and the young woman until recently, been earning a livelihood as a hired servant. It was while employed at Mr. Davison's house at Gibson some months ago that the intimacy between the two had its origin. Mr. Davison, nearly 50 years of age, has a wife and two small children. (see original) GLOBE: Dec. 20 - Robert Davidson of elopement notoriety returned to his place of business Dec. 19th. He denies the truth of the statement recently published concerning the elopement of himself and Mrs. Arbo.
