On Friday 2nd inst., William CARTER was killed in the large saw mill at Kouchibouguac (Kent Co.) owned by W.S. CAIE, Esq. It was the business of the deceased to keep the machinery of the mill oiled and cleaned, and while passing the end of a circular bench cleaning away the saw dust, an edging flew from the circular and struck him above the eye, killing him instantly; age 34, left wife, five children.
