Temperance Vale (York Co.) Dec. 25 - A happy event took place this eve. at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Israel CHURCHILL at which their daughter, Rhoda CHURCHILL was united in marriage to Orland CLARK youngest s/o Mr. and Mrs. Hiram CLARK of Upper Queensbury. Rev. Steeves performed the ceremony. The bride was the recipient of several presents, among which was a mahogany writing desk by the groom, a dogskin coat by her mother, a parlor lamp by Edward PARENT and sister, a shell-set jewel case by her brother, Isreal, half a dozen silver knives and forks by Mr. and Mrs. W.G. CLARK and a silver pickle dish by her sister, Mary CHURCHILL.
