Seldom, indeed, have a larger number of citizens attended the funeral of a child as the number which followed the remains of little Jean MacLAREN, the 6 year old d/o Dr. Murray MacLAREN to their last resting place in the Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery yesterday afternoon. She was laid out in a dress of white material, a gift from her aunt, Miss Sarah NICHOLSON, who is now on the other side of the Atlantic, but which arrived too late for the child to see. After a short service at the house the remains were conveyed to St. Stephen's church where the service was conducted by Rev. Macrea and Rev. John deSoyres. The service at the grave was conducted by Rev. Macrea.
