Capt. George A. STEVENS, died of heart failure at his hotel in Boston, age 69. He was a retired office of the U.S. Navy and was with Commodore Perry at the opening of the ports of Japan in 1854. Capt. Stevens was son-in-law of Mrs. Laura McALLISTER of Calais, Me. and his body will be brought here for burial. The funeral will take place today on the arrival of the western train.
