Inquest held before M. Cranney, Esq., Coroner at the house of Philip BREMNER, Chatham Parish (North. Co.) on the body of a man found in the ice below Middle Island (supposed to be Christian OLSON of Lower Bay du Vin who fell out of his boat last fall at Douglastown) His head and shoulders were over the ice and the rest of his body imbedded therein. He had on when found a red shirt, canvas trowsers, vest, a pair of shoes and socks. There was found in his waistcoat pocket, one ten shilling note of the Bank of British North America, two smooth shillings, four coppers and a pair of old spectacles. He was of middle size, thick set and had long hair partly gray.
