At Porter's Lake, N.S., 19th inst., while a number of young men were engaged at a chopping and hauling party for William BOND and were preparing their loads to proceed home, one of their number, Jesse A. PARKS fell dead on the ice. He was conveyed to his father's residence where an inquest was held by J.L. Griffin, Esq., J.P. verdict - died of heart disease.
