A large number of citizens attended the funeral of Aaron SMITH yesterday aternoon. The Foresters and Orangemen both marched in a body ahead of the hearse, preceded by the 71st band. At the grave the Orange funeral service was read by Worshipful Wetmore and Rev. Tippett performed the last rites at the house and grave as given in the Methodist ritual. The route of the procession was Westmorland to Queen and thence to the Rural Cemetery where interment took place. Undertaker John G. Adams had charge of the arrangements.
