Drowned In The Falls - Edward LOGAN and Daniel LOGAN, brothers and John McBAY, their cousin, started from Indiantown about 12:40 o'clock Thursday night to come down through the falls. At 5:30 o'clock yesterday morn. the boat was found bottom up in Rankine's eddy and those who went out in it have not been heard of since. ... Edward Logan was a man of about 28 years of age. He was about 200 pounds in weight and very strong. He knew the falls thoroughly and had gone through them often. He followed fishing as a living. A wife and four children survive him. Daniel Logan was about 38 years of age and was a painter by trade. He fished frequently. A wife and four children survive him. John McBay was a widower with two children. He fished for a living. The Logans were the sons of Charles LOGAN who now lives with two other sons in Boston. (see original)
