Ida McNAIR eldest d/o Archibald McNAIR and Agnes McNAIR of Nashe's Creek Mill, Restigouche, died Friday, May 30th at the residence of John McALLISTER, Esq., Campbellton (Rest. Co.) at the age of 20 years. The children of the Presbyterian Sabbath School in which she taught a class, sent a wreath of flowers. After divine services by Rev. Carr, the remains were removed from Campbellton on the eve. of the same day to the residence of her uncle, Daniel McMILLAN, Esq. The funeral took place Saturday and the remains were laid to rest in New Mills burying ground. The pall bearers were A. McG. McDONALD, McCLATCHY and Dr. MURRAY of Campbellton and John McINTYRE, James McPHERSON and John DICKIE. The deceased attended Normal School two years ago and secured a first class licence. On her return to her native place she undertook the duties of teacher in Black Point school which she performed for nearly two terms. Last autumn she received an appointment to the Campbellton school.
