On Sunday last a quarrel arose between Fenwick TEAKLES, Cardell (Kings Co.) an two neighbours named LOCKHART. The dispute was about driving some cattle out of Teakle's field. It is said Teakles knocked one of the Lockharts down whereupon the other threw a stone which hit Teakles, fracturing the skull and leaving him in a very dangerous condition. Drs. Raymond and Burnett consider the case a very critical one and give but litle encouragement to the prospect of Teakles recovery.
