The untimely death of John BOYD, mate of the Calais, Me. schr. "Julia A. Warr", has occasioned the deepest sadness. Mr. Boyd belonged to the Ledge (Charlotte Co.) being a son of late Pilot John BOYD and brother of Miss Bertha BOYD the 'Grace Darling' of St. Croix. He was washed overboard during a gale while he was taking in sail. He leaves a widow, the daughter of John KENT, formerly of Grand Manan and one son, a bright little lad of 7 years. He was 38 years of age.
