Mrs. HAINES of Northern House, Moncton, has in her possession a discharge of Cpl. Joseph HAINES, great grandfather of Allen HAINES of Richibucto (Kent Co.) Mr. Haines was discharged in St. John in 1773 after serving seven years in H.M. first American regiment.
