St. Dunstan's Church bell took a tone of joy about 7 o'clock this morn. The contracting parties are James DEVER, dry goods merchant. The bride was Miss Mary SEERY, cousin of Mr. Dever's first wife. A.E. O'BRIEN, one of the clerks in Mr. Dever's store, performed the duties of best man and Mrs. O'Brien acted as bridesmaid. Mr. and Mrs. Dever drove to their home on York Street after the ceremony. The ceremony was performed by Rev. McDevitt. Mrs. Dever has kept house for Mr. Dever ever since his first wife's death, about two years ago. (see original)
