The funeral of James HEGAN took place yesterday. Services were held at the residence of Mrs. William PARKS. Rev. Dr. Smith and Rev. T.F. Fotheringham conducted services at the house. The pall bearers were J.A. VENNING, Dr. James CHRISTIE, James BARBOUR, Jas. L. DUNN, W.J. MORRISON, Jas. READ. The remains were interred in Rural Cemetery (Fernhill Cemetery). At the grave D.B. Doig of Pioneer Lodge read the Oddfellows burial service.
