A few days since, as some workmen in the employ of Reed, Stevenson & Co., New Bandon (Glouc. Co.) were employed in loading a scow with cordwood, John NORTON was struck by a heavy stick on the back of his head, fracturing his skull and causing instant death. An inquest was held by Dr. Gordon.
