The funeral of George V. NOWLIN took place Saturday from his residence Leinster St., Saint John. A procession was formed headed by the 62nd band and Albion Lodge of Masons in regalia which preceded the hearse. The pall bearers were B. Lester PETERS, Wm GODSOE, Hon. Thos. R. JONES, W.L. PRINCE, Richard WHITESIDE, Thomas RAYMOND. Rev. J.B. Saer conducted services at the house. The interment was at the Rural Cemetery (Fernhill Cemetery) where H.B. Humphrey of Albion Lodge conducted the masonic service for the dead.
