The 'Monitor Acadien' announces the death of John WEBSTER on Sunday. The deceased, who was 98 years of age, was a native of Halifax, N.S. When 22 years of age, he was on board the English frigate "Shannon" which reached Halifax 6th June 1813 with her prize, the American frigate "Chesapeake".
