Funeral of John KING The pall bearers were: Charles H. CHANDLER, J.S. KAYE, H.G. BETTS, F.G.S. FITZPATRICK, Samuel WILSON and B. MITCHELL. The route taken Princess to Germain Street, along this and down King St. through Market Square to Water St. on which it proceeded to the Ferry floats where nearly all embarked on the ferry boat. On the Carleton side the procession reformed and proceeded to the Carleton cemetery, near Mr. Jewett's grounds, where the remains were interred. (see original)
