The body of Archibald McLEAN who lost his life in the Pilot Schooner during the late storm, was picked up off Sapau on Friday 9th inst. and interred at Black River on Wednesday following, age 30. The body of his father, lost at sea at the same time, was picked up on Friday week off Kouchibouguac Gully and interred at Black River Tuesday last, age 67. The body of the young man, age 22, picked up on the beach of the Kouchibouguac, was a nephew of Mr. McLean and also on board at the time of the sad occurrence. - 'Gleaner'
