A Sackville Captain's Bravery: A vote of thanks, in frame, was presented by the Humane Society on 22nd Feb. to Capt. Henry LYONS of steamship "Hipparchus" and to his chief officer, Wm H. SUTHERLAND and 1 each to four men who accompanied the chief officer in a boat to rescue 12 men from the wreck of the barque "Ulster" in the Atlantic. (see original)
