A New Brunswicker On The Wing! - There are a good number of New Brunswicker here. (Winnipeg, Manitoba), all of whom we are glad to shake by the hand. Among them are H.A. AUSTIN; D.L. THORNE is a real estate agent; Mr. SMITH, formerly of the fruit store, St. John, has taken a store for the winter; P. GALLAGHER has a stall in the market.; Mr. NAGY, formerly of the fur business in St. John, is located on Union St.; J.G. McDONALD bought a piece of land on Point Douglas for a brick yard.; Israel ROSS of St. John is the Asst. Supt. of Construction of Canadian Pacif west here; T.H. CARMAN, native of Bathurst (Glouc. Co.) nephew of Wm CARMAN, Esq. of Fredericton, Clerk of the PLeas, does a large business. He has a contract for City Water works. He has lived in Missouri and Montreal since leaving Bathurst.; Mr. McDONNELL, also a native of Bathurst, is now a leading Barrister of Winnipeg.; Mr. BLACKADAR of St. John, formerly clerk in Mrs. Robertson's store on King Square, arrived here last eve.; Although not a native of N.B., B.C. KENWAY was in St. John from 1868 to 1872 engaged as an architect and engineer; Osborne WICKENDEN, formerly of St. John, has been here only a few months. I was glad to meet Mr. Costigan s/o John COSTIGAN, M.P. for (Victoria Co.) who has charge of the mails from here to St. Vincent and James MULHALL of Chatham, Chief Clerk of the Mechanical Dept. of the Canadian Pacific; At Emerson, Mr. THOMPSON, formerly of St. John. While standing in the Queens the other day, Mr. ALWARD of Westmorland Co. came up. He represents White & Culbert of Sussex in the nursery business. Frank ARMSTRONG, formerly of Green Head, is doing well with his lime kiln at Stoney Mountain. Hon. C.P. BROWN, Minister of Public Works is also a New Brunswicker.
