W.T. Rose, Esq., Coroner, was summoned to hold an inquest on the body of Philip DOHERTY at Lawrence Station on Tuesday. It appeared that the deceased went from his home at Lawrence Station Saturday eve. to go down the line. Nothing was heard of him all day Sunday and on Monday his friends set out in search of him. His body was found behing a blacksmith shop in the vicinity. He was about 30 years of age and leaves a wife and family. The berdict of the jury was: died of exposure while in a state of intoxication from liquor obatined from George BEACH.
