Shortly after 12 o'clock last eve., while under the influence of liquor, Isaac J. McLELLAN of Hampton (Kings Co.), a Scotch pensioner, 72 years of age, who had been a widower for 17 years and has three sons in the American army, threw himself threw the window of No. 16, third flat of Bangor House, striking a fence enroute and by being picked up by parties in A.G. GORMAN's saloon who heard the noise of the fall, expired in fifteen minutes without uttering a word. At 11 o'clock this morn. an inquest was commenced on the remains in Bangor House before Coroner Earle. The following jury was sworn in William DUNLOP, foreman; Andrew EMERY, Calvin POWERS, Dennis BURKE, Samuel SMITH, William CRAFT. Testimonies were given by Mary Augusta CASE, Andrew G. GORMAN, George A. HETHERINGTON,,M.D., James McDONALD. (see original)
