There was a large attendance of citizens at the funeral of Capt. William RISING held from his late residence 341 Union St. yesterday. Union Lodge, Portland, F.& A.M. attended in a body. The services at the house and the grave at the Rural (Fernhill) Cemetery were conducted by Rev. J.J. Baker, the choir of the Leinster Street Baptist Church singing some appropriate hymns. The pall bearers were Capt. LUDLOW, James REYNOLDS, C.E. BURNHAM, Gilbert DAVIS, J.W. SULIS and Thomas L. HAY.
