Among the visitors in town are Mr. and Mrs. James M. GODARD. Mr. Godard is a s/o late John F. GODARD, Esq., formerly town clerk of the city of Portland, N.B. He went west about eight years ago, settled at Anaconda, Montana, was successful in business and, like a wise man, returned to the provinces for a wife. He was married in St. James Church, Bridgetown, N.S. to Miss Maud HOYT eldest d/o Alfred HOYT. Miss Nellie HOYT was bridesmaid and H.G. HARRISON, groomsman. Miss Elise TAYLOR and Master Robert HOYT were pages. Mr. and Mrs. Godard leave for Anaconda on Friday.
