James E. COX died at St. Catherine's, Ontario, aged 32 years. The above gentleman was born at Chatham, N.B. in 1861. His father was a surveyor who came to P.E.I. in 1871 to survey under Engineer Boyd and moved to the U.S. with his family some years since. James received his education at St. Dunstan's college and was noted for his fine mathematical ability. For some two years he was teaching at Georgetown.
