On the ushering in of the New Years, when the morning star was announcing the first day of 1865, Ann widow of Samuel ALLEN departed this life, age 55, left four sons, three daughters. She and her husband were baptized and joined the church in Keswick (York Co.) in 1830. She has lived a widow about 9 years. (see eulogy)
