The funeral of Mrs. W.N. VENNING took place yesterday at 4 p.m. The service at the house was conducted by Rev. Pope of Centenary Church and Rev. Sprague of Portland, the latter conducting service at the cemetery. Pall bearers: Capt. PRITCHARD, James HARRIS, James HEGAN, James REED, Wm VAIL and Wm A. ROBERTSON. The deceased was the mother of J. Albert VENNING, one of our leading dry goods merchants; Wm H. VENNING, Esq., Inspector of Fisheries; James N. VENNING The body was enclosed in a handsome rosewood casket supplied by M.N. POWERS, who, assisted by his son, T. Fred POWERS, took charge of arrangements for interment.
