On Wednesday last the steamer "Fanny" towed to Marblehead, Mass. a small boat she had picked up in Boston Harbour bottom up. It was ascertained that she was St. John, N.B. and belonged to two young men named Isaac GARVIN and Walter CURRAN. Garvin is about 17 years of age and Curran somewhat younger. The boys claim they railed from St. John in a boat about six weeks ago for Boston, intending to look for work in that city. Garvin's mother lives on Lombard St., Portland. She says her son Isaac and George GARVIN and young Curran left here last fall. (see original)
