The Eugene City 'Guard', Oregon contains the following notice of the death of Josephine JONES w/o Dr. L.F. JONES which occurred at her residence in that city Tuesday noon, 24th Jan., age 32 years 5 mos. 4 days. She married Dr. Jones in 1871 amd leaves two children, a boy and girl. Her parents live in Cresco, Iowa. The funeral services took place at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Rev. A.L. Parker officiating, Friday morn. 10 o'clock after which interment took place at Odd Fellows' Cemetery. - The deceased was in Moncton (West. Co.) with her husband some years ago.
