New York, March 10 - The police are investigating the case of Mary GROSS, alias Maud TRENHOLM who died at Belliveau Hospital on Tuesday from exhaustion due to acute mania. It is stated her father is James WHITE, proprietor of Pheonix Hotel, Moncton, N.B.; that Mary eloped four years ago with James B. GROSS who maltreated and deserted her. The body was sent to New Brunswick yesterday.
