Barnesville (Kings Co.) Oct. 8 - A report reached on Monday of a serious accident which befel James TRAYNOR while in St. John Saturday eve. While driving along Duke St. about 10 o'clock his horse became frightened and in trying to check its speed one of the reins gave way. His horse sprang to one side, striking the wheel against a meat wagon standing in the street and Mr. Traynor was thrown violently from his seat, his head striking with such force that the skull was broken. He was conveyed to the hospital where he breathed his last Tuesday morn. His remains were brought home for burial and were interred in the Catholic burying ground Wednesday.
