The funeral of Stephen Hanson SHAW took place from the residence of his son-in-law, Col. William CUNARD, 37 Main St. Saturday afternoon. Services at the house were conducted by Rev. H.P. Cowperthwaite after which the remains were removed to the Methodist burial ground for interment. The pall bearers were R.W. CROOKSHANK, Jos. W. LAWRENCE, John COLEMAN, Robert CUNARD, Henry MAXWELL and Benjamin KNIGHT. Funeral arrangements made by M.N. Powers.
