On Thursday night, three men attempted to cross from Rothesay (Kings Co.) to Titus's Mill in a boat loaded with oats and have not been seen since. The boat having been subsequently found bottom up at Gondola Point and the oats strewd on the beach leads to the confident belief that the men have met a watery grave. It is supposed that the boat, which carried a sail, was overturned in a squall. The names of the missing men are: John COYLE, Hugh CLARKIN and John KEITH. Mr. COYLE leaves a wife and three children. Mr. KEITH belongs to PEI.
