Percy CRANDALL s/o H.V. CRANDALL left Moncton a number of years ago, studying surgery in Philadelphia where he had a number of relatives. He obtained a position on one of Uncle Sam's warships, the "Gelena" on which he is now assistant surgeon. The Brooklyn 'Journal' says: Dr. Percy Crandall, surgeon of the man-of war "Gelena", now in the Brooklyn Navy yard is an enthusiast in his profession. He was appointed to the navy in January 1888 having graduated the year before from the University of Philadelphia. (see original)
