Patrick MANSFIELD, a native of P.E.I. who has lived at Tabusintac (North. Co.) the past two years, was killed on the South Branch of Big Tracadie last Thursday where he was working for Jas. R. ROBINSON. He was cross-cutting logs on the brow of the bank and was found by the teamsters dying at the foot of the landing with the saw by his side. It is supposed that the log he was sawing rolled over on him and crushed him. He was carried to the camp and died in about twenty minutes. The body was taken to Neguac for burial. The deceased leaves a wife and six children. - Chatham 'World'
