A sad occurrence took place at the Branch, Black River (North. Co.) Tuesday last. A daughter of Allan MACKAY, who was attending the Branch school, complained of a pain in the breast, and with the teacher's permission left school to go home. Little Mabel MACKAY was accompanied by a younger sister and had walked only a short distance when she fell down on the road. She was taken up by one who came to her assistance and after breathing once or twice she passed away. The funeral took place on Tuesday -'World'
