A quiet wedding took place last eve. at the residence of John R. CALHOUN, Leinster Street, when his eldest daughter, Ethelwyn E. CALHOUN, was married to George D. POPE of the interior dept., Ottawa and son of the late Minister of Marine and Fisheries. Miss Bertha BARBOUR acted as maid of honor. The ceremony was performed by Rev. George O. Gates of Germain Street Baptist Church.
