At Rogersville, Saturday 24th Dec., Joseph POIRIER, a farmer living near Rogersville station, left his home in company with his son to go a short distance back in the woods to cut some lumber where they had been engaged for some days getting railway ties and posts. As usual, at noon, they left the woods togther, the son driving the team while the father walked a short distance behind. The deceased was 55 years of age (see original - A Farmer Drops Dead On The Road)
