Jane McNAIR second d/o Martha McNAIR and the late Nathaniel McNAIR left her home at Louison's Brook (Rest. Co.) early in December, accompanied by her brother, David McNAIR of firm D.& N. McNair, to seek advice, and if necessary to undergo an operation in McGill University, Montreal for the removal of a tumor. She was advised by the physicans here that an operation was her only chance of recovery. Of the fifth day after her arrival two tumors were removed. Her case proved fatal. Herremains were taken home to her sorrowing mother and interred beside those of her father who died June 9th, 1880. Her funeral was attended by Rev. Thos. Nicholson.
