Thomas ROSS, an old and respected citizen, died Monday eve. after a protracted illness. Deceased was 77 years of age and was a native of Ayrshire, Scotland. He leaves a widow, two sons and five daughters. One son, Malcolm ROSS is now residing in California. The other son George ROSS lives in this city. The daughters are Mrs. McKEEN, Mrs. McDONALD, Mrs. WHITTAKER and Mrs. ESTABROOKS of this city and Mrs. COOPER of St. John. The funeral takes place this afternoon.
