Hedley V. KING eldest s/o Joshua KING, has for the last eight years been in the employ of the Pennsylvania Railway Company and has lately been stationed at Baltimore. He was home visiting his parents for a short time. On his arrival at Philadelphia he met a friend T. Keliher and they concluded to spend a day at the sea-side at Cape May. ... A short time after Mr. Keliher went in and had a dip. He missed KING ... Not finding him he at once gave the alarm, but Hedley King was never seen after. This was on 17th Aug. at about 1:30 p.m. His family were wired the sad news the next day, and his brother, Fred KING and H.J. McGRATH arrived in Cape May, Monday morn. 22nd inst... Having failed in their search, the body it is feared will never be recovered. (abridged)
