Thomas DEFOREST, a laborer, who resided with his father, John DEFOREST, Leinster St., died at an early hour this morn., the result, it is thoght, of over exertion. About 5 o'clock his father aroused Dr. D.E. Berryman to attend him saying that he was taken suddenly ill. When the doctor arrived he found DeForest lying on the floor dead. He got out of bed and vomited a large quantity of blood and evidently died while vomiting. The deceased was about 35 years of age. He had been working lately at heavy work and it is thought that he had ruptured a blood vessel. Dr. Berryman did not consider an inquest necessary.
