A telegram was received in the city last night announcing the death of Capt. George KYFFIN at Rio Janeiro. He was captain of the bark "Dunvegan", having joined her at Brunswick, Ga. just after Christmas. The "Dunvegan" is owned by Geo. McLEOD of this city. The deceased leaves a wife in this city. His brother, Capt. John KYFFIN died at Santos only two years ago. Capt. Thomas KYFFIN, now in this city and late captain of the "Mary E. Chapman", is a s/o late Capt. John Kyffin. Capt. George Kyffin was one of the best known mariners sailing out of this port.
