Penniac (York Co.) Nov. 4 - Mrs. DENNISON widow of James DENNISON died at her home in Penniac, Saturday eve., Oct. 28, age 83 years. She had been in failing health for about a year, during the latter part of which her disease developed into dropsy. Although aged she never seemed old, for she was always jolly and cheerful and full of ambition. Her maiden name was Mary Ann SLOAN. She was born in St. John and when she grew up, her mother having died, she spent a portion of her time in visiting friends and relatives in Penniac. Finally she married and settled there. She was baptized by the late Rev. Henry Cronkhite and united with the F.C.B. Church. Deceased had nine children, six of whom: Mrs. Lorenzo GILMORE, Mrs. G.T. ALLEN and J.M. DENNISON of Penniac and George DENNISON, Charles DENNISON and William DENNISON of Marysville, survive her. She also leaves a large number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral, under the direction of undertaker Vanwart, took place Monday 30th. The services were conducted by Rev. J.T. Parsons, assisted by Rev. Hodge.
