Thomas GIBERSON, well to do farmer, age 26, living in Wicklow parish (Carleton Co.) was defendant in a breach of promise suit in the Circuit Court at Woodstock this week. Annie BELL, a farmer's daughter, age 20, living in Kent Parish, was the plaintiff. A verdict for the plaintiff for $4,000 was returned.
