d. Gowland Mountain, Elgin (Albert Co.) 27th Sept., of inflammation of the liver, John CRANDALL, 50th year, eldest s/o Rev. Daniel V. CRANDALL. He professed faith in Christ in February 1856 and was baptized by Rev. D.V. Crandall and became a member of the newly organized third Elgin Church, where for nearly 26 years he retained his membership. Some 14 years ago he was chosen and ordained a deacon. He leaves a wife, six sons, three daughters, a widowed mother, five brothers, four sisters and many relations.
