St. John, N.B. Nov. 13 - A ship wrecked crew reached here Saturday night in the Government steamer "Lansdowne". On Wednesday eve. the little schr. "Arbutus" set sail from Liverpool, N.S. for Annapolis with a cargo of coal which she had brought from Sydney C.B. and on Thursday night at 5:45 she struck an old Proprietor shoal and in half an hour went to pieces. On board the vessel when she left were Samuel T. WOLF, Port Medway, N.S., captain, Edward MARTIN, Port Medway, mate, Joseph GODFREY, Brooklyn, N.S., steward, Hiram CONRAD, East Berlin, N.S., who lost his life and Wm FRALICK of Beach Meadows, N.S. were sailors.
